It all began with the Ziegler Candy Company based in the modern day Fifth Ward of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Among their many unique creations and innovations, Candy Raisins® was born in 1928. A classic juju in the shape of tapered cylinder with a wrinkly “raisin” top. There really is no way to describe this truly unique flavor with words. Passing from Ziegler to Howard B. Stark Candy Company / NECCO and now to Lake Country Candies, Candy Raisins®, and its fans, have proven to be resilient beyond measure, supporting this little gem to continue to be produced today.
